ABOUT
Felicity Pickering is an Australian screenwriter, director, and producer based in Los Angeles. Felicity has a BA of Communication (Writing and Cultural Studies) and a Masters of Media Arts and Production from the University of Technology, Sydney.
Her short films include 'The Confessional', 'Toni Fitzgerald's Cult Following' and 'Facon'.
'Toni Fitzgerald's Cult Following' was Felicity's directing debut. Felicity directed, wrote, and produced the darkly funny feminist comedy. 'Toni Fitzgerald's Cult Following' has screened at Detroit Shetown Women's Film Festival, Melbourne Women in Film Festival, GRRL HAUS CINEMA and many more. The film was nominated for Best Comedy at Australian Women's Film Festival and Women's Comedy Film Festival, Atlanta.
'Facon', which she wrote and produced, received a Special Mention at Flickerfest before screening at Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
In 2017, Felicity was selected for the Australian in Films Writers Room program where she developed her pilot 'Suite 7'.
Felicity currently lives in Glassell Park and works in reality TV Casting, working on such shows as 'MasterChef', 'MasterChef Junior' and 'Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking'. She's worked in production on 'American Idol', 'America's Got Talent', 'Big Brother', 'Love Is Blind', 'Echoes', 'Press Your Luck', 'Dungeons and Dragons: Honour Among Thieves'', 'Temptation Island' and 'Claim To Fame'.
